This morning Ruby and I headed off to the dog park to meet some friends. Freddy was not there, so Ruby took his place as the "Fun Police." Any time the other dogs started playing around and having FUN, she would run over and break it up. She had a great time running around with Duke, Roscoe, Tuna, Raven, Rufus, and Melly!! :)
Right now Ruby and I are being super lazy and hanging out in the bed while A. is watching basketball at his brother's house. In a little while, I will head off to BOOK CLUB! YAY!! I didn't get to go last month because I was busy preparing for my Hawaii trip and I miss my bookworm friends!
This month we read Case Histories by Kate Atkinson - a novel/mystery with several interwoven stories that span 40 years. It was a great mix of English culture, relationships with siblings and parents, and fresh starts. One of my New Year's resolutions was to read 2 books a month, and I am behind! I'm starting Time Traveler's Wife tonight and I'm pumped!

For our book club we are reading 'I was told there'd be cake' by Sloane Crosley. It is a collection of essays and it is really funny... i am interested to see how it will go as a book club book! I'll let you know Wed!
Miss you! As it turns out I am not going to Jenna's B-party :( so it looks like I won't be getting my Laura fix until May!! BOO! We did book our hotel and travel arrangements for the wedding though! WHOOHOO! We are staying at the Residence Inn - Marriott. I vote that you stay there too!
